The Olympic Logging Conference has been in existence since 1945. The Olympic Logging Conference is one of many regional logging conferences and associations that meet annually within the United States and British Columbia. Representatives from the Olympic Logging Conference also participate in the Pacific Logging Congress which is an umbrella conference to the regional conferences.

The conference brings together people who are involved in the forest products industry of Western Washington State. The Olympic Logging Conference meets annually during the spring at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia.

The conference offers a forum where people within the industry can network with one another. Spouses or significant others are encouraged to attend the conference. A variety of luncheons, dinners, entertainment venues plus a golf tournament are hosted by the Olympic Logging Conference during the 2 day event.

The Pacific Logging Congress mission is to fulfill the need to provide sound technical education about the forest industry. Founded in 1909, the Pacific Logging Congress has sought to educate politicians, educators, their students and the general public about the need for sound, responsible forestry to supply global needs for wood fiber.

New for the 2012 registered guests will have the opportunity to visit Caterpillar Tinaja Hills Demonstration Center, where PLC will hold one day of the meetings. Those attending will also have the opportunity to watch the demonstration of the massive mining equipment.

The final day of convention will be held at a quality resort located in the Tucson area, where valuable industry topics will be addressed during the two day program sessions. Convention schedule, program topic details and Resort location will be available soon.
